Global Warming
Climate change is a big topic in today’s time! There are several different things that people have that can harm the planet and things people do that can harm the planet. The government has made a big deal about this issue to fully aware people that global warming can make a difference in how things affect us. The IPCC which is Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change which is more than twenty five hundred scientists and other experts that wrote reports on global warming. The final assessment of the climate change they realized that “warming could lead to some impacts that are abrupt or irreversible, depending upon the rate and magnitude of the climate change.” There are warming temperatures, heat waves, heavy rains, droughts, stronger storms and biodiversity. With all these different things can end up changing how we live and what all Mother Nature can do to us. Global warming has become a big topic especially when Al Gore made it a top priority and writing a book. It has made more people more cautious about the future and trying harder to protect the earth. There are more earth day’s and recycling than what I remember when I was younger. My personal opinion is whatever happens, happens and there is nothing we can do about it. Mother Nature is a lot powerful than we will ever be and one thing I wouldn’t want to pick a fight with. Texas is in one of the worst droughts in history it makes me wonder if this is part of what these scientists are talking about. Is there really a way we can fix this from happening? Or will it happen not matter what all we do?
I agree with your post on this topic. We are seeing efforts across the globe to recycle, reuse, and conserve resources across the globe more than ever before. Everyone from the everyday consumer to the top corporations are attempting to “Go Green.” Even oil companies are attempting to, or at least portraying to, change their operations to reduce the negative effects on the environment. Despite the on going argument of cause(s), I think it is extremely important now for the population to focus on and implement every positive measure to preserve resources and to reduce environmental harm.
